2024 Buick Envista ST: Styling That Redefines The Entry-Level Luxury Segment
The 2024 Buick Envista offers a premium, entry-level crossover experience with sophisticated styling cues. Available in Preferred, Sport Touring, and top-rated Avenir trims, it caters to diverse tastes and needs.
Sure, it’s not the extremely futuristic Buick Wildcat EV coupe that we were shown years ago, but let’s be real, coupes don’t sell, sadly. What does sell are small SUVs, so it makes sense that Buick’s new entry-level model is also the first model to kick-start the brand’s styling evolution, bringing the futuristic styling of the Wildcat concept into real metal. Or, at least adapting it as best as they can, after all this is an SUV, not a low-slung sports coupe.
The Envista showcases a sculpted design with a forward-leaning front fascia highlighted by the iconic Buick Tri-Shield logo. Standard LED headlights are positioned below sleek daytime running lights, while the sportback-style roofline enhances its coupe-like appearance and driving dynamics. The Avenir trim further elevates the design with Black Ice chrome trim and body-colored wheel arches, adding a touch of sophistication.
Edmunds wrote that the Envista has “style well beyond its price point, ” which is a great way to sum it up.
Inside, the Envista offers a modern cabin with comfortable seating for five, enhanced by Buick’s QuietTuning system for a quieter, more relaxed ride. The Avenir trim includes leather-appointed front seats. With the rear seats folded, the Envista provides up to 42 cubic feet of cargo space, accommodating a variety of storage needs.
The standard Ultrawide Infotainment Display combines an 8-inch driver display and an 11-inch Buick infotainment system into a seamless 19-inch diagonal screen. Wireless smartphone compatibility is also standard, ensuring easy connectivity on the go.
The sole powertrain on the Envista is a 1.2-liter turbocharged inline three-cylinder engine, which delivers 137 horsepower to the front wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. AWD is not available.
The EPA rates the Envista at 28 City and 32 Highway.
The standard Buick Driver Confidence package includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Front Pedestrian Braking and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning.
The available Advanced Safety Package adds Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Change Alert with Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
The 2024 Buick Envista aims to revolutionize not only the brand’s styling but also the entry-level luxury crossover segment.
Our 2024 Envista ST test vehicle had a starting MSRP of $24,100 and a total cost of $29,070 with options and destination charges.
